About the venue

About

Belmacz London is a contemporary art gallery and jewellery showroom located at 45 Davies Street in Mayfair. Founded by Julia Muggenburg in 2000, the gallery presents solo and group exhibitions, artist collaborations, publishing projects and commissions alongside Muggenburg’s own jewellery designs. This crossover between contemporary art, object-making and design gives Belmacz a distinctive position within London’s Mayfair gallery scene. Its programme includes emerging and established artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, moving image and installation. For art travellers, Belmacz is best experienced as part of a wider Mayfair gallery route with nearby spaces around Davies Street, Cork Street and the Royal Academy.

Worth the trip

Because Belmacz has a very particular identity: contemporary exhibitions sit alongside jewellery design, commissions and publishing. It feels less like a generic Mayfair white cube and more like a carefully built creative world.
