Inside the exhibition

Intersticio, a very special exhibition at the Casado Santapau gallery where, for the first time, the works of Diet Sayler (Romania, 1939) and Nelo Vinuesa (Valencia, 1980) meet face to face.

What exactly is an interstice? Although the word may sound technical, it actually speaks to something very everyday: that small gap that remains between two objects or that necessary pause between two moments. It is a place of transition, a “between” that, although not always evident, is fundamental for things to transform and move from one state to another.

This idea of intermediate space and active pause is what gives meaning to the exhibition. In Intersticio, we invite you to enjoy a visual conversation between two very different styles that get along wonderfully: the ordered geometry of Diet Sayler and the painting full of energy and gesture of Nelo Vinuesa. Between both artists, a shared territory emerges where control and movement coexist to create something entirely new.
