Antonio Ballester Moreno

Step inside "El cielo y la tierra" (Heaven and Earth), a unique indoor landscape where the beauty of the outdoors comes to life within the museum walls. In this exhibition, artist Antonio Ballester Moreno shares his personal journey through the collections of Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo and @feriaarco.

This project is a true community effort, blending Ballester Moreno’s own work with pieces created by local families and students from the CEIP Federico García Lorca in Móstoles. It creates a wonderful dialogue where handmade creations sit side-by-side with works from the museum’s permanent collection.

The result is an inviting scene that mixes simple, everyday materials like cardboard with art by established creators. As you wander through, you’ll find yourself in a space where the boundaries between “high” and “low” art disappear, and opposites like sky and earth or day and night blend into one.
