Description
Co-produced with the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, the exhibition examines how nuclear physics transformed politics, culture and our experience of time. Its scope begins before Hiroshima, with discoveries in atomic physics, and extends through nuclear weapons, energy and contemporary environmental anxiety.
The show spans artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, using art as a way to understand an event whose consequences cannot be contained within conventional history.
